Contact Rep. Kurtz Today!
The Foster Child Identification Theft Protection Act was heard in the Committee on Families, Children, and Seniors on Wednesday, November 12, 2014. The legislation was well received; however, no vote was taken.
So let's work harder!
If you would like to make sure that children in foster care are protected from identity theft, call or email the chair of the committee, Rep. Kenneth Kurtz and:
1) Thank Rep. Kurtz for hearing testimony on HB 5775...
2) Let Rep. Kurtz know that we recognize that he is busy and that we understand the time constraints...
3) Ask that Rep. Kurtz continue hearing testimony on HB 5775 and to take a vote on HB 5775 during the first week of December when the legislature returns to Lansing.
